1. Information we collect
We collect only what the service needs.
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), optional mobile number and account type.
- Brief details: title, category, deliverables, location, schedule, budget, usage-rights requirements and any look images and reference files you upload.
- Professional profile details: display name, biography, services, base city and service areas, equipment, languages, indicative pricing, portfolio items and business information.
- Proposals, messages and project records: proposal content, conversations, milestones, deliverable status, reviews and payment status records.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and security logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Enquiries and reports: messages you send through the contact form, reports about content or users, and copyright notices.
We do not collect or store card numbers or CVVs.
2. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and provide the brief, proposal, messaging and project features.
- To match briefs with relevant professionals using category, location, service coverage, capabilities and budget.
- To send in-app and email notifications you have enabled, and service messages about your account.
- To moderate content, investigate reports, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
- To improve the platform, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. Who can see what

Administrators may access content where necessary for moderation, security, disputes or legal compliance. Such access is logged.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- The other party to a brief or project, as described above.
- Service providers who help us run the platform, such as hosting, email delivery and, if enabled in future, payment processing. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security.
We do not send SMS or WhatsApp messages unless a provider integration is installed and stated on the platform.
5. Files and attachments
Reference documents and files, proposal attachments, message attachments and project deliverables are private. Look images are private unless you choose to show them on your public brief; we remove location data from them before they are shown. They are stored outside public web folders or served only after a permission check, and are checked for type, size and content on upload. Portfolio items you choose to publish are public.
6. Cookies and storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms from forgery, and similar technical storage needed for the service to work. Brief drafts you save in the browser are stored on your device only. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this section and request consent where required.
7. Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Project records, audit logs and payment records may be retained for longer for these purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal information that we no longer need.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and correct your information from your account settings.
- Choose which notifications you receive.
- Request an export of your data.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to the retention limits above.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it, and raise a concern or complaint.
To exercise these rights, contact us and choose "Privacy or data request". We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Security
We use measures such as hashed passwords, encrypted connections, access controls, rate limiting and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse of your account.
10. Children
The service is intended for adults. If you commission a shoot involving children, you are responsible for having the consent of their parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account purposes.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
