Is it free to post a brief?
Yes. Posting a production brief is free for customers. If paid plans or lead fees are introduced for professionals, they will be published on the Pricing page before they apply.
Who can see my brief and my contact details?
Public pages show only a summary of your project. Your email, phone number and documents stay private until you award a professional. Your brief, reference images and brand name are shown so professionals can quote accurately. Your contact details are shared only with the professional you award.
How are professionals matched to my brief?
Matching uses simple, understandable rules: category, location and service coverage, capabilities and budget. Suitable professionals are notified in-app and by email, and you can also browse and invite professionals yourself.
How do I compare proposals?
Proposals share one format covering price, itemised costs, deliverables included and excluded, delivery timeline, revisions, usage rights and payment schedule. You can view them side by side, shortlist, ask questions and request a revised proposal.
How do payments work?
Payment records are tracked against each project. Fotographer.in does not claim to process or hold funds unless a payment gateway is configured and stated on the platform. Always check the payment terms in the accepted proposal.
Does Fotographer.in guarantee the quality of work?
Professionals are reviewed before approval, and customers can leave reviews after completed projects. Quality depends on the agreed scope, so we encourage detailed briefs and clear proposals. Disputes follow the published Cancellation and Dispute Policy.
Can drone or aerial work be requested?
Yes, as part of a brief where permitted. Drone operations are subject to applicable Indian regulations, and the professional is responsible for the required permissions.
How do professionals join?
Professionals register, complete a profile with services, coverage areas, equipment and portfolio, and confirm they have permission to publish their work. Profiles go live after admin approval.
